It is believed that a blowup between Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, versus Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco took place. It is well-known by now, Johnny wasn't pleased with Parsons' decision to leave the show, primarily given that he hadn't warned his co-stars prior.

Problems might have carried over ever since. Cuoco and Galecki have pushed themselves away from TBBT's spin-off Young Sheldon, while Parsons continues to score huge with the show.
